PERFUME ROLLER

Do you want to create your own natural perfume roller but have no idea where to start? When selecting botanicals for your perfume, start with the base note, soften with a middle note, and finish with a top note that makes a positive first impression.

Because natural perfumes does not contain the chemicals used to make sent last you do have to apply it more then chemical based perfumes. Using our pendant's makes that very easy and practical. It's a beautiful accessories that is with you everywhere you go.

Pendants:

Base note essential oils:

The rich and deep scent of the perfume and often a musk scent. Examples include: cedarwood, frankincense, ginger, helichrysum, myrrh, patchouli, sandalwood, vanilla, vetiver, clove.

Middle Note essential oils:
The main scent of the perfume, but also mellow and comes out a couple of minutes after the top note. Examples include: chamomile, cinnamon, clove, cypress, fennel, geranium, jasmine, juniper, marjoram, neroli, nutmeg, pine, fir, rose, rosemary, spruce, tea tree, thyme, ylang ylang.

Top note essential oils:
The first impression of the perfume, light and evaporates quickly. Examples include: lemon, orange, grapefruit, lime, tangerine, citronella, bergamot, eucalyptus, lavender, lemongrass, peppermint, spearmint.

Types of Aromas for DIY Perfume:

  • Floral (rose, geranium, lavender, jasmine)
  • Woodsy (cedar, pine)
  • Earthy (vetiver, patchouli)
  • Herbaceous (rosemary, basil)
  • Minty (peppermint)
  • Camphorous (eucalyptus)
  • Spicy (cinnamon, clove, nutmeg)
  • Oriental (ginger)
  • Citrus (orange, lemon)

 Perfume pendant:

  • After choosing your top, middle and base note oils.
  • Combine 5-8 drops each of your selected oils in the empty 2ml pendant roller bottle until your essential oil blend is balanced.
  • It is best to leave your oils to synergize for 24 hours.
  • Once you’re happy with the blend, fill the rest of the bottle with carrier oil.
  • Roll on to your neck, wrists, or anywhere you apply perfume.

Perfume recipe:

Energizing Blend – Grapefruit/Ylang Ylang

Mix 7 drops of Grapefruit with 4 drops of Ylang Ylang in a 2 ml roller bottle and then fill with carrier oil.

Floral Blend – Jasmine/Lime

Mix 7 drops of Jasmine with 4 drops of Lime in a 2 ml roller bottle and then fill with carrier oil.

Walk in the Woods Blend – Lavender/Lemon/Vetiver

Mix 5 drops of Lavender, 4 drops of Lemon and 3 drops of Vetiver in a 2 ml roller bottle and then fill with carrier oil.

Sexy Musk Blend – Lavender/Lime/Copaiba

Mix 5 drops of Lavender, 4 drops of Lime and 3 drops of Copaiba in a 2 ml roller bottle and then fill with carrier oil. You can also get YL Haven, which is made with lavender, lime, copaiba and other essential oils in a roller bottle.

 

Pro tip: Apply this DIY perfume just after taking a shower, the moist helps lock in the fragrance.
