MASSAGE BAR - RECIPE

 

We all need this in our house, whether your a mom, athlete or just need a little tlc.

This recipe is so easy to make and so handy when it comes to muscle aches. Not only does it helps with aches and pains but also have amazing hydration and nutrient benefits to your skin.

You can also adjust the recipe and use the bar as a solid lotion bar. 

Ingredients

1 tablespoon Shea butter

1 tablespoon of cocoa butter

1 teaspoon of jojoba oil / organic jojoba oil

2 teaspoons of coconut oil

1 tablespoon of natural beeswax

20 drops essential oil (I used Lavender, Peppermint, Panaway And YL Haven)

Black Beans - enough to fill the bottom of the mold

Instructions

  • Melt butter, oil, and beeswax on low heat.

  • Add the black beans in the bottom of your mold so it covers the entire bottom part.

  • Once the beeswax and butter are melted, add the essential oils, mix well.

  • Pour right away in your mold.

  • Put in the fridge for 1 hour.

  • Un-mold and it’s ready to use!

Why use the black beans? They work like magic to add some pressure point on for the massage and the moisturizing butter and oil soaks in your skin to hydrate it.
